Six Step
Purification System
The International
Bottled Water Association defines "Pure Water" as being virtually free of detectable levels
of all 6 classifications of water
contaminants. Spring water may or may not be processed to remove
Organics, Inorganics, Microbacterias, Pesticides, Herbicides &
Radionuclides.
Activated
Charcoal Filter
This filter removes bad tastes and odors, some microbacteria, chlorine and
some organic and inorganic contaminants.
Ion
Exchange Water Softener
This step removes minerals like calcium and magnesium, which are the cause
of hard water an conditions the water for Step 4.
Five
Micron Fiber Filter
This filter removes all suspended particles that are larger than 5 Microns
from the water prior to its entering the Reverse Osmosis System.
Reverse
Osmosis System
The R.O process removes virtually all impurities, including viruses and
organic compounds.
Ultra-Violet
Light
This process is used to keep the purified water at a "zero" bacteria
level while in storage waiting to be bottled.
Ozonation
This maintains the integrity of our water and protects against bacterial
contaminants entering the water during the bottling stage.
6
Classifications of Water Contaminants
Bacteria
& Parasites
represent a major threat to your health and often result in severe
cramps, diarrhea or worse.
Inorganic
Materials
such as lead, mercury, asbestos, nitrate, copper, fluoride, arsenic,
barium, chlorine, to name a few.
Organic
Contaminants
includes hundreds of components from sewage industrial solvents, fuel
by-products (MTBE), decaying materials, etc.
Pesticides
used in agriculture to control insects.
Herbicides
includes PCB's, and numerous chemical compounds used in agriculture.
Radionuclides
from radio-active waste, and uranium deposits.
